I have been a ACDSee user since i gave up on Adobe Photos many years ago.I found out about ACDSee when i purchased a new Pentax Camera in 2004 and it was bundled with it. I find much more user friendly and constantly up grading itself to be better and more functional than the previous version.Very nice. The photo shops by Adam Price and Alex have been very useful in getting the most from this program.I am no means an expert and still working on using it to its fullest but just takes time and practice for a hobbyist. I’ve been cynical of products such as this in the past, as while faster and more modern processors handle such software OK, running editing software on poorer performing machines is usually very telling. Luxea is remarkably smooth on older machines and while may not have all the features of higher end editors, it contains enough to turnout excellent, augmented and entirely professional productions.

I’ve used ACDSee for many years and always found it fast and reliable. There are many good fuctions but I really want to point out “AutoLevel”. It does magic to my scanned positives. And in no time at all! It takes much fiddeling if you want to get the same result manually. Recomended
