Only the following Generative AI features require credits to use because they are cloud-based:

• AI Image Generation, AI Generative Edit, AI Generative Fill, AI Remove

All other AI features run locally, on your device, so they remain free to use. This includes:

• AI Face Detection
• AI Keywords
• AI Similarity Engine
• AI Reverse Image Search
• AI Denoise
• AI Super-Resolution
• AI Object Selection
• AI Subject/Background Selection
• AI Sky Selection
• AI Sky Replacement
• AI Face Edit
• AI Hair Selection

Generative AI features are destructive with the following exception:

• Using AI Generative Fill and AI Generative Edit in ACDSee Ultimate’s Edit mode can be considered non-destructive if you select to show the generated result as a new layer. Save your work as an .acdc file and you will be able to delete the AI Generated layer at any time, preserving your original image.

ACDSee never stores text prompts, reference images, or the input image for AI Generative Edit, AI Generative Fill, and AI Remove. ACDSee securely stores output images for seven days, so you can retrieve them if, for example, you accidentally close ACDSee while waiting for a generated image to return. After seven days, they are deleted.

Generating an image requires sending your request to Google, which provides the underlying AI service. ACDSee uses Google’s paid commercial service, under which Google does not use your prompts or images to train or improve its models. Google briefly retains them for abuse monitoring and legal compliance before deleting them, and this processing may occur on servers outside your country. Fixed AI credits will not rollover after their expiration date.

With an active ACDSee 365 Complete Plan or ACDSee 365 Photo Plan subscription, your recurring AI credits do not rollover at the end of each month, but are replenished at the start of each month.
