Sales Development Representative

Job Summary

ACD Systems is looking for motivated and passionate Sales Development Representatives to join our inside sales team. Your focus will be outreach, prospecting, and lead qualification. Your role will be to seek new sales and business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers and partners. You will gain valuable hands-on experience in B2C/B2B sales and business development.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify and convert leads into opportunities
  • Schedule qualified leads for calls, meetings, and demos
  • Conduct customer and partner research through market research and individual prospect research
  • Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services
  • Provide customers with product information, pricing, and quotations
  • Build relationships with customers and partners
  • Track and measure prospecting efforts
  • Provide enthusiastic and courteous customer service

Qualifications

  • You are a hunter, ambitious, and results-driven

  • Excellent phone communicator with active listening skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Previous experience with Salesforce and CRM systems would be an asset
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English
  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration; or related field
  • 2+ years of sales and/or customer service experience desirable

Notes

  • Position based on-site at Richmond office location near Lansdowne Centre
  • Monthly salary based on experience plus performance-based incentive compensation
  • No in-person contact with customers or business partners
