About this Update
This update is for English. For the German version, change the site language accordingly.
ACDSee Pro 3 has met Microsoft's minimum standards for compatibility and reliability on Windows 7 and has been verified Compatible with Windows 7. We have further identified and largely addressed usability issues that some users may encounter related to Windows 7 Libraries and high DPI display settings.
This update to ACDSee Pro 3 also includes the following usability improvements:
- In Quick View, the ESC key can now always be used to exit the application.
- In View mode, the ESC key can now be used to go back to the previous mode.
- In the Organize and Database panes, a collapsed category will be shown in bold if it is hiding assigned categories.
- The right-click menu now displays the F shortcut to toggle in and out of fullscreen mode.
- The Vignette tool has been adjusted to smooth out the gradient effect.
This update to ACDSee Pro 3 includes fixes for the following issues:
- FTP Uploader would fail to access subfolders.
- Some program icons would display as ACDSee icons.
- Clicking Cancel in Edit mode would incorrectly display the Save Changes dialog.
- Images viewed with Exposure Warnings turned on would sometimes display a green flash.
- An incorrect modified date would sometimes display in the status bar.
- The Copy to clipboard command would sometimes fail in Edit mode.
- A wrong image would sometimes load into Develop mode after making changes to a folder’s contents.
- Loading an 8-bit grayscale image in Edit mode would sometime cause a crash.
- The White Balance tool would malfunction on zoomed in RAW images.
- After cropping an image, the White Balance settings would change.
- Images deleted or renamed in the Duplicate Finder tool would not have any associated files deleted or renamed (eg. XMP sidecar file or original file once developed/edited).
- Text size set higher than 96 DPI would result in identification overlay icons displaying incorrectly.
- In some circumstances the application would crash when running the Email Wizard.
- Video created from Create Video Wizard would not always show the developed version of non-encodable files.
- A previous version of ACDSee Pro would need to be installed in order to create a video.
- Highlighted thumbnail selection was no longer highlighted after using a sort operation.
- Performing multiple edit operations on large RAW images would sometimes cause application to crash.
- ACDSee Online; Aperture and shutter speed information did not display correctly for some images.
- Search pane had some interface elements missing.
- Directory trees had overlapped text.
- Clicking home button failed to update directory tree selection.
- Screen saver failed to execute.

- EXIF-ISO speed rating would not display for Leica D-LUX 4 RAW images.
