ACDSee 2009 Update
To use this update, you must have ACDSee Photo Manager 2009 (Build 85 or 108) installed on your computer.
Update file size: 10.1 MB
About this Update
This update is for English. For the French and German versions, change the site language accordingly.
This update to ACDSee Photo Manager 2009 includes the following fixes:
Metadata:
- Images which had GPSLatitude or GPSLongitude EXIF values where the minute contained more than 4 digits past the decimal place were truncated
- The application would ‘shift’ the decimal in GPSLatitude or GPSLongitude fields in the second part of the coordinate in some situations
- The application would not update the EXIF Camera Date/Time field once that value had been written once
- GPSLatitude or GPSLongitude EXIF fields that contained a very high number of decimal places would cause the wrong values to be displayed in the Properties pane and these values were then written back into the file – overwriting the original value
- The application was not correctly writing GPS coordinate values when creating the XMP block resulting in loss of the Latitude/Longitude Reference value.
Stability:
- Saving a .RW2 file as a .TIFF could cause a crash if ‘preserve metadata’ option was on
- Corrupt files could cause a crash due to a problem in the Quarantine Files feature
- Large TIFF files sometimes crashed when being taken into the Editor
Other:
- RW2 files were not being correctly associated with the application
And also includes fixes from previous build 108:
Database:
- Users can now choose which files they want to embed database information into
- Users can now easily retrieve a list of all items that need database information embedded with the Embed Pending special item
- After Embed process completed, user can now view errors and/or feedback on embedded files
- Converting a database from a previous version of ACDSee now only flags items that have database information for embedding
- Embedding progress dialog now indicates filenames
- When XMP Embed feature cannot write to a file it will no longer disable the program
Edit:
- Skip feature in Copy To function now operates correctly, skipping only duplicate files
