Optional Multimedia Support for ACDSee

You can download the following free support applications to view and play additional file formats with ACDSee.

Note: These applications are not required to use ACDSee.

• Microsoft® DirectX®

  With DirectX, you can play audio and video file formats such as AVI, MIDI, MP3, MPG, MPEG, WAV, and WMV. ACDSee supports the latest version of DirectX.
  Note: DirectX 8 is not available for Windows NT.

• QuickTime™

  With QuickTime, you can play audio and video file formats such as AIF, MOV, PICS, QCP, SWA, and SWF. ACDSee supports the latest version of QuickTime.

• GhostScript

  With GhostScript, you can view Adobe™ PDF, EPS, and PS files. ACDSee supports GhostScript versions 7.00 to 7.04.
