ACD Systems announces ACDSee™ to include Yahoo! Toolbar
Victoria, British Columbia – August 3, 2006 – ACD Systems International Inc. (TSX: ASA), makers of ACDSee™ photo management software and Canvas™ technical illustration software, announced today that it will offer users of ACDSee 8 and ACDSee Pro the option to install a Yahoo! Toolbar for use with Microsoft® Internet Explorer. The company will also provide its users with a Yahoo! Search Box for searching and acquiring information from the web.
The Yahoo! Toolbar will be available as part of the download of ACDSee 8 and Pro, in addition to being available as a stand-alone download at www.acdsee.com. It will contain not only a link to the Yahoo! home page, but also valuable links to acdsee.com products and services. Furthermore, users will have access to a Yahoo! Search Box, which will be displayed on pages throughout the acdsee.com web site. It will offer users the opportunity to search the ACDSee site as well as the web.
