ACD Systems Strengthens Commitment to Sales Excellence

VICTORIA, British Columbia – Feb. 16, 2006 – ACD Systems International Inc. (TSX: ASA), makers of ACDSee™ photo management software and Canvas™ technical illustration software, today announced a contract with Coss, McCormick Partners to identify and implement best-in-class sales principles to achieve the company’s full growth potential.

In their 22 combined years at Oracle, Jon Coss and Tim McCormick built and managed a number of high-performing sales teams. They were awarded sales person and manager of the year distinctions seven times, consistently transforming under-performing products and sales teams into higher growth areas for the company. Working together in California, Mr. Coss and Mr. McCormick increased revenues by over 35% per year to over $35 million in 2001, despite the slowdown in the technology industry.

Additionally, at SM&A, Mr. Coss built an exceptional sales team to deliver capture management services to information technology clients. In his first year, he added 26 clients, including several of the world’s largest providers of information technology services and software products, and increased revenues by $21 million.

Coss, McCormick Partners will work with ACD Systems to create a world-class sales team to invigorate sales of the company’s products, including ACDSee 8 Photo Manager, ACDSee Pro Photo Manager and Canvas X. They will focus on aligning the sales force with corporate objectives, implementing the sales processes and standards needed to drive and support increasing revenues, and identifying and attracting high achieving sales and management talent.

"Tim and I are delighted to be working with ACD Systems to help them build a high performance sales force to match their superb products and services,” said Mr. Coss. “We look forward to helping the company achieve its goals."

“ACD Systems has taken a significant step forward to realizing its growth potential,” said Doug Vandekerkhove, chairman, chief executive officer and president of ACD Systems. “Tim and Jon have proven expertise in building dynamic sales organizations. Their skills and leadership will help ACD Systems deliver the sales results that will increase shareholder value.”
