ACD Systems Announces Resignation of the Vice President, Sales and Business Development
VICTORIA, British Columbia – Feb. 16, 2006 – ACD Systems International Inc. (TSX: ASA), makers of ACDSee™ photo management software and Canvas™ technical illustration software, today announced the resignation of Mr. Nasir Sheikh as vice president of sales and business development. Mr. Sheikh joined ACD Systems as a consultant in February 2005 and in October that year was appointed to vice president, sales and business development.
"I believe that ACD Systems is positioned for success with the recent releases of ACDSee 8 Photo Manager and ACDSee Pro Photo Manager, along with the company’s progress towards the launch of online digital photography services,” said Mr. Sheikh. “However, the time is right for me to pursue other career objectives, and I wish ACD Systems all the best in the future.”
