ACDSee 19 is packed with tools to help you organize your photos, perfect your best, and inspire your friends and family. Now featuring an entire mode for chronologically viewing your entire image collection from a bird's-eye view, collections, exact color matching, pressure sensitivity for the brush tool designed to keep your edits as precise as possible, high DPI support for crisp viewing on 4K monitors, and much more, ACDSee 19's new features add even more value to this dependable software.
Experience the entirety of your photo collection by date. Gain new perspective on your memories by browsing it by year, month, or day. Conveniently locate your place in giant collections thanks to pop-up dates showing you exactly where you are in time. View it all together, or just the photo collection stored on your Microsoft OneDrive™. Quickly move from this panoramic chronoscopic view to organizing, viewing individual files, or taking them directly into Edit mode for adjustment.
Group your photos in one place for a simple take on highly complex organizing and easy searching. Create Collections to fast-track the right photos to the right workflow, such as printing, batch editing, sharing to web, developing, or accumulating for a slideshow. Build hierarchies within Collection Sets for further structure to help you drill right down to the photos you want. Or construct Smart Collections containing a search, which you can return to at any time. Utilize an extensive list of search variables, including relative dates, date ranges, metadata, and file properties. Smart Collection's search will update its findings as files are added to the database — zero effort on your part.
Is it time to make that big transition? Tired of importing your photos into an application instead of the application just reading them straight off your hard drive? Well, we can make that change over a little smoother, a little less painful, and a lot less work. A few clicks and your Lightroom™ database will begin importing into ACDSee, keeping your Lightroom™ collections intact, viewable and editable in ACDSee's Collections tool, and allowing you to maintain and still benefit from your long hours of rating, keywording, and labeling even after you've transitioned to ACDSee.
Distinctive, clear, crisp. These are just a few of the words used to describe ACDSee's new high DPI support. View your images on 4k monitors in sharp, uncompromising detail no number of words can describe.
ACDSee 19 now adds another 33 camera models to its lengthy list of supported RAW file formats, including 12 coveted Fuji X-Trans models.
With your OneDrive™ folder now integrated as a root node, you can instantly access your cloud content from Manage mode, Photos mode, and from 365 mode. This allows you to organize, view, edit, and share, any of your image collection no matter where it's stored, without moving it out of the cloud. Include the entirety of your OneDrive collection alongside your hard drive collection when viewing by date in Photos mode.
Quickly access standard and custom color options with the new Color Picker window. Choose background and foreground colors in the palette, and get exactly the one you want by hue, saturation, and luminosity values, or by RGB values. You can even store colors as favorites to streamline your design project.
Expertly adjust the sensitivity of the brush with the new pressure setting. Use different stress strengths for different areas of your image. Combine this with the nib width and feathering slider for completely nuanced brushing, available with a wide variety of effects.
Passage to the Cloud
Conveniently take care of all your cloud-related tasks right from Manage mode. Upload images to and download from ACDSee 365, organize, control privacy settings, and share with your family, friends, and the world with ACDSee SeeDrive.
Your Harmonious Folder Structure
ACDSee smoothly displays your folder tree in the same style as your OS, which means zero confusion.
Get Right to it
There's no need to import your photos into a separate library. Browse your collection right away. Sort by date, event, edited state, or other criteria in real time.
Classify files by camera and EXIF information, and edit IPTC metadata as you go. Customize the Metadata tab to display only the details that matter to you.
No More Hide and Seek
Enter keywords, search only specific folders, narrow it down by your camera's file information, or find that one specific image with the Quick Search bar. Build detailed searches and save them for ongoing use. You can even filter for photos that don’t have keywords assigned to them.
Organize Like a Boss
By creating categories, adding hierarchical keywords and phrases, rating, tagging, and color labeling your photos, you’ll never lose a photo again. Your photography workflow will become clearly defined and your process streamlined.
More Than Just Rose-Tinted Glasses
Quickly preview your images in a variety of filters as you browse them with View mode using Auto Lens View.
Make Some Gestures
Motion through your viewing process quickly and elegantly on your tablet or mobile device with ACDSee 19’s support for Windows Touch Gestures™.
Step One: 1-Step
Experience the ease of effortless automatic exposure adjustment with 1-Step EQ. ACDSee’s patented Light EQ technology powers 1-Step EQ’s intuitive improvements right as you open the image.
Apply Some Magic
When you need some mystery or a dash of charm or fancy, apply a variety of brand new effects without needing to go through a complicated, multi-step process.
Crystal Clear Zooming
Automatically find your way around your image when zoomed in to the finer details with the improved Navigator in Edit mode.
Complete Lighting and Color Control
Alleviate the age-old struggle of too much or too little light in your photos. Instantly lighten shadows and reduce highlights in one click, or fine-tune by adjusting individual sliders. Change the tonal range, white balance, and color balance of your photos with easy-to-use adjustment tools.
Graduate with Gradients
Subtly blend effects across or around your photos with radial or linear gradients. Choose a linear gradient for images that aren’t evenly exposed, or that need fine tuning in only select areas. Apply a radial gradient to create off-center vignette effects, multiple vignetted areas, or to draw focus to a single object.
Achieve an Effortless Overhaul
Reduce red eye, rotate, flip, crop, resize, and repair for full control over your finished product.
Localize Your Edits
Quickly smooth on any editing effect to a specific part of your photo with the Edit Brush. Correct lighting, color, and just about any aspect of your photo on a large or minute scale. Add special effects to specific areas of your photos.
You’ve Been Framed!
Add a border, vignette, or text to your favorite photos. Customize the color, texture, and thickness to suit your shot. You can also blur or raise the edges, and add a drop shadow to perfectly complement the mood and atmosphere of your photo.
Direct the Eye
Blur areas with little or no attributes, while still maintaining the sharpness and detail of your photo. Use it as a creative effect, or as a noise reduction technique. Choose from a variety of blur styles — even achieve a bokeh effect.
The Silver Lining
Fully integrated with ACDSee 19, ACDSee 365 provides you with hassle-free access to other innovative software solutions, sharing, cloud-based photo management, and storage. Access ACDSee 365 directly through Manage mode with the ACDSee SeeDrive pane.
In order to maximize your overall ACDSee experience, the Smart Indexer catalogs folders and adds them to the ACDSee Database when your computer is idle. The Smart Indexer is so smart that it knows when you’ve made changes and automatically keeps everything up-to-date, so that you don’t even have to think about it.
Peek a View
Revel in the convenience of a sneak peek of your images through your OS’s context menu, as you go, with ACDSee PicaView. Save time not having to open your images in an application to identify them, view their EXIF information, and launch them in ACDSee for further editing without any bother at all.
RAW and Colorful
View RAW files from all the major camera manufacturers. Similar to a photo negative, a RAW image is undeveloped, so ACDSee displays a JPEG preview of the file. You can then convert it to other file formats, like JPEG, TIFF or PNG. Enjoy proper color management, so what you see on your screen is true to hue.
Create as many ACDSee databases as you like, and quickly and easily switch between them.
Sharing doesn’t have to be a struggle. Send your shots through e-mail, upload to flickr™, SmugMug™, and Zenfolio™, and share to Facebook™ in a flash. Customize slideshows of your images for friends and family.
