We are looking for talented software developers to join our product development team. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest digital imaging technologies designing and developing our next generation features and products.

Summary

Seeking Software Developer with strong Objective C programming and Macintosh Development skills. Candidate will participate as a member of the product development team working closely with Senior Developers, QA Testers, and management to develop product features needed in our commercial software products. The job will involve a combination of new development, enhancements to existing features, and maintenance (bug fixes) as needed. Candidates must have a very good understanding of application level programming techniques, data structures and the ability to source level debug applications in Objective C.

As a Software Developer you will design, develop, document and maintain high-quality software on time that meets and/or exceeds requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in the entire product life cycle by designing, developing and maintaining high quality software applications using the latest technologies and innovations in a timely manner
  • Analyze existing requirements for new products/product enhancement and produce and implement these designs into complete products.
  • Provide timely and accurate estimates and status updates for assigned tasks
  • Work directly with Quality Assurance department providing input to testing procedures and fixing necessary defects.
  • Provide input to documentation processes and thoroughly document changes and/or new features to software in a consistent, concise manner.
  • Research new technologies as appropriate.
  • Continue to enhance technical skills and product knowledge.
  • Diligently share knowledge and expertise with others.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to effectively employ object-oriented design patterns such as MVC to create maintainable code
  • Strong Objective C programming skills.
  • Experience in Apple OS X programming.
  • Experience using Apple’s X Code Compiler.
  • Experience with CoreImage, multi-threaded, asynchronous and parallel (GPU) programming
  • Solid structured programming skills.
  • Experience organizing and maintaining complex data structures.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated creative problem solving skills.
  • Ability to learn new technical skills.
  • Must be a self-starter able to work well with others and with little direct supervision.

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent related experience.
  • 3+ years programming in Objective C or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
